The Sound of Music
A tuneful, heartwarming story, it is based on the real life story of the Von Trapp Family singers, one of the world's best-known concert groups in the era immediately preceding World War II. Maria, the tomboyish postulant at an Austrian abbey who becomes a governess in the home of a widowed naval captain with seven children, and brings a new love of life and music into the home.
We are looking for outstanding performers between the ages of 10 – 16, who wish to advance their musical theatre training and end the year with a performance at a prestigious Hong Kong theatre in June 2026!
Audition Information
In-person Audition: Saturday, 21st June 2025 anytime between 10am – 1pm
(first come first served basis/5-7 minutes per person)
What to prepare for your In-person Audition:

Song from a musical or film at least 1 minute in length showing the use of vocal ability. Song must be memorised and can be sung with a backing track or acappella.

Monologue from a musical or film at least 1 minute in length showing the use of acting ability. Monologue should be memorised.

We will be teaching you a dance combo during the audition. So just be prepared to learn some choreography on day.

What to wear to the audition? Clothes to dance and perform in & No jeans or short dresses.

What to prepare for your Online Audition:
