Regular Programmes
Face Academy programmes offer intensive, audition-only training and performance opportunities to skilled performers aged 10 to 21.  A specialised curriculum dedicated to the overall development and core understanding of the chosen field while working towards a polished and professional performance is included in each programme. An audition is required to be accepted onto the programme.
Musical Theatre 10 -16 years (The Sound of Music)​

These courses combine the three core disciplines of acting, singing, and dance, to nurture the all-rounded performer. The programme trains in various techniques and genres while also rehearsing for a full-scale musical production. These productions are staged at some of the most prestigious theatres in Hong Kong.

Face Drama 12+ years

Our specially designed course educates aspiring actors in the history and practice of theatre and performance. The programme introduces different methods of acting and approaches to text work while rehearsing for a full-scale play to be staged at a professional theatre.

Face Voice 10+ years
​
Our vibrant ensemble works with contemporary material from various musical genres to learn how to bring expression and intensity to the voice. Performers discover their chest and head voices and are trained to open up resonators they never knew they had! This program covers vital musicianship skills (sight-reading, timing and musicality) required of all accomplished singers. Performances at high-profile public events provide opportunities for our singers to apply their techniques practically and develop confidence.

Face Dance 10+ years
​
Dance offers an intensive level of training to better strengthen core work and dance techniques as well as experience varied dance styles. The training aims to meet the increasing demand for strong dancers required by our current and future productions. This will not only enable more confidence as a dancer, but will also enhance skills as a fully adaptable performer and triple threat, inviting the possibility of better roles in future productions and events.

Pre-professional Programme 16+ years
​
This course is created for students who are preparing for drama school auditions, and it is comprised of one-on-one training for aspiring actors and musical theatre performers. The personalised approach enables focused attention to enhance specific areas like monologue delivery, characterisation, audition techniques, and overall performance confidence and quality. Working with our creative director to choose appropriate and personalised material, refine your acting choices, and develop a strong audition strategy.
Students will complete the course with two contrasting audition pieces on a self-tape ready to submit to universities or drama schools, a professional actor's CV, and a personal statement.
Students may select two contrasting monologues, musical theatre songs or one of each.
